[ Seven o'clock and Jae's opening front door reveal him in the suit he'd described over his texts, glossy hair perfectly combed, makeup on point. He steps back, grinning, holding his arms up like he's presenting himself. ]
[ Leviathan shows up in his usual suit of all black with opal accents and whistles low when Jae opens the door. ]
Mmm, ya gonna hit me if I ask ya t'spin for me? I mean, I can say yea but--
[ Laughing, Levi leans against the doorframe, gaze bright as he takes it all in. Yeah, suits and knives and combat training shouldn't be the idea evening for him, but here he is. ]
Mmm, an' I should warn ya.... Haven might be a bit different for ya this time. [ Leviathan can only guess, since the other hasn't set foot in a place that populated by the denizens of Hell since the Binding, so-- well, best to be aware. ] Nothing bad, but-- tell me if anything weird happens okay?
[ Jae grins, taking a step back and turning as requested. He's still got that thing about being praised; it's not as blatant as when he was younger, and he doesn't go seeking it out, but it's still there, in some ways.
His eyebrows go up at Levi's warning. Seven years ago he would have had a million questions, would have checked to make sure everything was all right, that he wasn't crossing some line or causing trouble or about to cause offense.
Now? He just nods, buttoning his jacket. He trusts if it was anything dire, he'd be told. Otherwise, he knows he can handle himself in most situations, and if he can't he's there with Levi. ]
[ There is laughter on his lips as Jae spins for him, letting the Creature see how well the suits fits and makes something in his chest tremble. He ignores that feeling though and focuses instead on slinging an arm around Jae's shoulders and pulling him close.
Taking Jae to Haven this time around might be the same or-- well it could be incredibly different. He had gotten a rather interesting visit from Mephisto not too long after he came back and bound himself to Jae, and it was, as expected, filled with disbelieving looks and slightly raised voices (mostly from the Fallen). Something in Hell had shifted, it was different than it had been and Leviathan was very sure that it Jae held more power in him than he used to. Power that people who were of Heaven or Hell and in-between were going to notice.
But Levi trust that Jae will be able to handle it, doesn't want to say much since he isn't so sure of what has happened himself, and makes a note to simply be more aware of things this time.]
Mmm, of course we could do that, darling. [ A sharp smile while Levi drags his hands over the lines of the suit, humming quietly.] Or we could just take the elevator down t'the basement level that isn't quite the basement anymore.
[ Jae still isn't sure if he feels any different. Well, more correctly: he knows he feels different since Levi's return, stronger, more happy, more secure. And in the intervening years he'd grown more confident and self-assured on his own. It's hard to separate out what might be because of his new circumstances, what might be all his own, and what might be a result of the binding.
He's not worried, frankly. He hasn't second-guessed his choice once, the certainty and rightness of it settling into his bones the moment it was offered. Whatever comes, will come, and he'll deal with it when it does. He has absolute faith in this bond, and the two of them. He needs nothing more.
He accepts being fussed over, Levi's hands following the lines of his suit, as he always has, with a quiet smile, though his expression shifts when Levi mentions the elevator. ]
Wait, what? There's an elevator here? So without even trying I moved into the Ghostbusters building or some shit? Nice. Good to know my wild magnetism for this kind of thing still holds.
We could do both: lead me to the elevator and I'll hold on tight when we get in.
[ That last bit is delivered with a wink, and a grin. ]
for Jaehyeon
[ fucking fuck. he does not know what he has done to earn this from you.]
... yeah, yeah we have.
I will see you at seven then, darling.

[... is that supposed to be hot? because it kind of is. damn.]
and clearly not in the sexy way. Honestly, try it. Hate fucking is great. Therapeutic and usually slightly less messy than murder.
